Pre-Care

Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild cleanser and avoid abrasive scrubs or exfoliants a few days prior.
Cease Retinoids: Stop using retinoid creams or serums at least 7-10 days beforehand to reduce skin sensitivity.
Avoid Direct Sun: Minimize sun exposure and always wear a broad-spectrum SPF. Avoid tanning beds for at least a week before.

Moisturize Regularly: Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer to alleviate dryness and peeling.
Sun Protection: Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily and minimize sun exposure to prevent hyperpigmentation.
Avoid Harsh Products: Skip products with retinoids, glycolic acid, or other actives for a few days to prevent irritation.
Resist Picking: Allow the skin to naturally exfoliate. Don't peel or pick at any flaking skin to prevent scarring.
